Some very dry reading.. This account of broadcast history is interesting as it is rich in detail, and provides some anecdotal accounts from the author(s)as they are part of that history themselves.
Not a bad read.. The book does contain a biography of Marcus Aurelius. He was an intense competitor in everything and a gentleman in the process. (IV.51). I have a whole library of bus books and I periodically read through them, and I find surprises and new info no matter how many times I read them. It is beautiful to display as well, equally at home on your bakers rack, your library shelf or your coffee table. Fellow Hungarians have read his story and lauded him for his accuracy and honesty.
Grove's writing style is sparse and direct. I am a avid American bus fan and have essentially all the major bus books published concerning American buses in the last 30 years or so. It is clearly a reaching out story, to young and old, in history, self-achievement, and good people. The Roman E
